Go To ELF!
'Go To ELF!', Written by Lauren McLaughlin
Review by Gary Loper
‘Go To ELF!’ is a very surprising book on so many levels. The vast majority of books I have read over the past 20 years have been in the self-improvement, motivation, leadership, marketing arenas. So, I was a bit reluctant to invest time and energy into a 400-page novel until I started reading ‘Go to ELF!’. By the second chapter I was drawn into the story of Tony & Frankie who meet as young boys as they both sought out a sanctuary from their home lives. Unknowingly they independently found the same spot and became lifelong friends, sharing their life and spiritual experiences.
It is in their continued growth and connection to ELF that brought the story home for me. Tony & the characters in the book had triumphed thru life applying the Laws of Attraction, as they were reminded from ELF.
The story is a romantic novel in the sense that we can experience Tony’s life, and see the beauty of what we can accomplish when we set our intentions and follow the A-B-C’s – Ask for what we want, Believe that we are worthy & entitled, and Collect when it arrives at our doorstep.
Lauren McLaughlin masterfully guides us thru Tony’s life and shares all his interactions with friends, family, business, the ebbs & flows, as well as applying the teachings of Abraham Hicks and some of John McLaughlin’s work as a Unity Minster.
Normally I am a deliberate reader, but ‘Go To ELF!’ was something I was pulled to read and I was amazed at how quickly I traveled thru the pages, drawing a real connection to Tony & Frankie and their friends and family, not wanting the story to end – and the good news is that this is just the beginning of the story. A second book is in the works and we will be able to share the continuing story as both Tony & Frankie deal with real life issues of their relationships, aging family and more.
I highly recommend this book and consider it a must read for people who may have forgotten their connection to their spiritual source, for those of us trying to put together the pieces of our childhood that may not have ever made sense, and to those searching for how to move forward from life’s setbacks.
I have described this story as the LOA 101, applying the Laws of Attraction to our everyday lives and creating the world we desire. As we walk along with Tony & Frankie and see how they apply the laws and ELFermations, we know that we can do exactly the same thing and get all we wish to achieve.
