Our Angel Stories from NC retreat/vacation
Driving thru Atlanta, the motor on one of the windows broke – of course the window was down.
While trying to follow a friends recalled directions – they were not fully aware of the area we were in, we got turned around and could not locate the Honda dealership we were looking for. Realizing that we were going in the wrong direction, I pulled into a parking lot to make a U turn and upon entering the lot a Sheriff appeared and was able to direct us exactly where we needed to go. Felt that the Sheriff was there for us, placed there by our Angel.
On the way home, we left in the middle of the night and with a non-functioning GPS – she didn’t like the mountain road we took two days before and stopped talking to us, we found ourselves lost in Asheville. Of course, when you get lost in a new city in the middle of the night, you find yourself in an area of town where you are not comfortable stopping just anyone on the street for directions.
We finally came across a convenience store where the clerk gave us exact turn by turn – with landmarks- directions to get back on the highway.

In our travels back to St Petersburg, I had planned on taking a route that would have been a nice drive and we would have been able to see some of the cities and towns of South Carolina. We were driving in a lot of fog and rain, so visibility was a challenge and my navigator-Caryl, got chatty and missed the sign for the highway I was planning to take. Plus there was a large truck obscuring the exit – once again, I felt the angel on my shoulder had led us away from my planned route to stay on the interstate highway for a safer & more timely route.
Still in route thru South Carolina, the fog finally lifted and traffic was moving along very well, many choose to extend the speed limit to perhaps make up time lost in a slower drive due to the conditions. Going along with the traffic flow or maybe even setting the pace – we passed a clearing in the median and noticed two sheriff cars. Just as we passed them one hit the lights and started in our direction. Thought for sure, there was no escape from a speeding ticket, until I saw in the rear view mirror the sheriff had pulled over another car. I was very thankful for the angel pendant on my shoulder.
These are a few instances where we noticed the Angel presence. Imagine having an angel on your shoulder or around your neck. Imagine receiving one as a gift. Imagine how your life could be impacted or blessed with Angel guidance, by the presence of Angels!
