The First Angel – A Gift from the Heart

Gift of an Angel Pendant, Exchanged Between Friends.

The first Angel Pendant was created at the request of a client who wanted a special angel necklace to give to her closest friend who was recovering from cancer surgery. Her friend loved Angels, and my client loved her friend. The Angel Pendant meant a great deal to the woman receiving it, but her friend’s gift of caring, love and ongoing support, touched her the most. The real gift was the unconditional love my client had for her friend. I saw her being an Angel in the life of her closest friend; although she could not be there in person, her gift of The Angel Pendant allowed her to be present in spirit.

As I began designing that first Angel Pendant, I was deeply touched by the expression of unconditional love between these two friends. The Angel Pendant was a symbol of that deep and abiding love and I was inspired to begin making Angel Pendants for others too.

I recognized that millions of people might be similarly touched, possibly seeing themselves as being a Special Angel in the life of someone they loved or by thanking someone for being an Angel to them. Or simply wanting to say,
“ I love you”, “You are special” and “I am here for you”.
